Richard Coope is a UK-based tech entrepreneur and the founder of Zeropath. With over 20 years of experience building and growing software businesses, Richard is driven by a passion for solving real-world problems through technology.
After selling his previous company to Civica in 2022, he founded Zeropath to help organisations measure and reduce their CO₂e emissions. His mission has been to make carbon data clear, actionable, and genuinely useful, helping businesses move towards net zero with confidence.
Richard believes AI is transforming how businesses operate, not just in sustainability but across productivity and performance. He’s focused on using intelligent automation to remove manual work, surface insights faster, and help teams make better decisions with less effort, freeing people to focus on what really drives progress.
A hands-on developer at heart, Richard still enjoys working in .NET and Blazor, creating clean, efficient systems that balance performance with usability.
Outside of Zeropath, Richard channels his competitive energy into motorsport; racing, fine-tuning, and working closely with race engineers to get the car performing at its best. For him, racing and business share the same principles: precision, teamwork, and a constant drive to improve.
